DESCRIPTION:Generative AI promises artistic emancipation while delivering a
	 new order of\ndependency. Whoever produces an image\, a sound\, or a text
	 draws on models whose\ntraining data\, computational capacities\, and inf
	rastructures rest in the hands\nof a few corporations of the global North.
	 This talk asks after the threads on\nwhich artistic creation now hangs\, 
	and after the hands that hold them. From a\npower-critical and feminist pe
	rspective\, it examines how the supposed\ndemocratisation of creative tool
	s perpetuates old colonial and economic\nasymmetries\, whose labour remain
	s invisible\, and whose aesthetic norms assert\nthemselves in the outputs 
	of these systems. At its centre stands the question of\nwhat artistic auto
	nomy can still mean under conditions of technical heteronomy\,\nand what r
	oom for agency remains to artists when the very means of their work\nbecom
	e the object of critical reflection.\nDr. Dorothea Winter is a philosopher
	 and author working at the intersection of\nepistemology\, ethics\, and ae
	sthetics\, with a focus on the philosophical and\nsocietal implications of
	 artificial intelligence. Her work brings power-critical\nand feminist per
	spectives to questions of autonomy\, dependency\, and judgment in\ndigital
	 societies. She produces the philosophy podcast Philosofun and speaks and\
